Born and raised on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, Rachel Boston got her start performing in church musicals. At 17, she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. Boston began her studies at New York University and later moved to Los Angeles to begin filming NBC’s Award-winning television series “American Dreams.”

Currently, Boston can be seen recurring as Hannah Oliver on the drama series “SEAL Team.” Other credits include Showtime’s “Kidding” with Jim Carrey and Judy Greer; a starring role in the indie comedy I Hate Kids along with Tom Everett Scott and Titus Burgess; and a guest role on ABC’s "The Good Doctor" as Antonia Thomas’s college best friend in a fight to save her life.

Boston starred alongside Julia Ormond and Jenna Dewan-Tatum in the series “Witches of East End.” She was named one of TV Line’s “15 Fresh Faces of Fall” and TV Guide included her work as Ingrid Beauchamp honoring the year’s best characters and shows.

For her starring role as Mindy in the independent feature The Pill, Boston was honored with the Stargazer Award for the most talented emerging actress at the Gen Art Film Festival in New York City, the Best Actress Award from the San Diego Film Festival and the Emerging Artist Award from the Big Apple Film Festival. Filmed in Manhattan, The Pill also took home the Gen Art Film Festival Audience Award.

Boston appeared with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel in the Golden Globe® nominated film 500 Days of Summer which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. She co- starred alongside Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner in the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.

Boston has starred in a number of original television movies including “A Carousel Christmas,” “The Last Bridesmaid,” on which she also served as executive producer, “Christmas in Angel Falls” alongside Beau Bridges, “A Rose for Christmas,” “Stop the Wedding,” “A Ring by Spring” and “A Gift of Miracles” with Rita Moreno. Most recently for Hallmark, she starred in “Dating the Delaneys” on Hallmark Channel. She also executive produced and starred in the indie feature Black Marigolds, which reunited her with Noah Bean, her co-star from The Pill.

Previously, Boston starred on the USA series “In Plain Sight” and in the CBS comedy series “The Ex List.” Some of her guest-starring appearances include “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “ER,” “NCIS,” and “Rules of Engagement.” Boston began her career in television on NBC’s “American Dreams,” playing Beth Mason, the strong-willed girlfriend to J.J. Pryor (Will

Estes). Set in the 1960s, Beth brought a wave of female independence and a voice of modern- day opinions as she laid the groundwork for ever-changing world issues, including equality for women.

Earlier this year, Boston welcomed her precious daughter Grace into the world. When they’re not reading, learning and traveling together, they split their time between Tennessee and Los Angeles.
