Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bennett studied ballet at a young age, including two years at a Canada’s National Ballet School. She began training as an actress in 2010, studying with local renowned acting coaches.
Bennett has starred in numerous television series including Netflix’s “Travelers’”, Freeform’s “Shadowhunters,” History Chanel’s “Project ‘Blue Book’”, as well as series leads on the CBC series “21 Thunder” and “The Romeo Section.”
Bennett has led a variety of television movies, including “Listening to Love,” “Love in Yellowstone”, and “Stolen Dreams,” which achieved Bennett her Leo Award win.
Bennett has also appeared in Hallmark Channel’s “The Nine Lives of Christmas” and “The Last Bridesmaid.” Bennett has demonstrated her versatility in Tim Burton’s "Big Eyes," The CW Series “iZombie’” the Lifetime series “UnREAL,” as well as Snow White for the Disney Channel’s “Descendants.” Most recently, Bennett has brought Christmas spirit as the lead in “Christmas Carol” for ReelOne and “Lonestar Christmas” for Lifetime. Bennett can be seen in her leading role in “Love for Starters,” “Yellowstone Romance”, and “Christmas Class Reunion.”
