Brian Tee was born in Okinawa, of Japanese and Korean descent; he is fluent in both those languages. When he was two, his family moved to California. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, with a degree in theater. Tee is best known for his work in the hit feature The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. His many other feature credits include We Were Soldiers and The Wolverine. He has appeared in a host of TV series, including Monk, Without a Trace, Entourage, Burn Notice and Hawaii Five‐O.
