Still in her mid-20s, Makenzie Vega already has an impressive resume of television and feature film credits to her name. She played Alicia Florrick’s daughter Grace opposite Julianna Margulies in the critically acclaimed television drama “The Good Wife” and earlier appeared in “The Geena Davis Show” on CBS. For feature films, Vega stared in the horror-thriller "Fender Bender," and she appeared in Brett Ratner’s "The Family Man," with Nicolas Cage. In addition, she was in Jon Favreau’s "Made," James Wan’s "Saw," Robert Rodriguez’s "Sin City," Donald Petrie’s "Just My Luck," Brett Ratner’s "X-Men: The Last Stand," and Jon Kasdan’s "In the Land of Women." Most recently, Vega appeared with Andie MacDowell in Hallmark Channel’s “The Beach House.”
Vega was born into a large family of five siblings in Los Angeles to an American mother and a Colombian father, and she is the younger sister of actress Alexa PenaVega. Recognizing the importance of early education and the development of reading skills, she also serves as a spokesperson for Jumpstart, a nationally recognized charitable organization serving the educational needs of inner city children.
