Ingredients
Ingredients for Lamb Patty
- 1.5 lbs Ground Lamb, formed into 5-6 oz patties
- 1/4 C Parsley, finely chopped
- 2 T Oregano, finely chopped
- 1/2 t Allspice
- Kosher Salt & Ground Black Pepper Season Outside of patty right before cooking Brioche Buns, 4
Ingredients for Lebne Spread
- 2 C Lebne
- 2 T Mint
- 1 T Basil
- 1 Lemon, juice and zest
- Kosher Salt & Ground Black Pepper to taste
Ingredients Garbanzo Mash
- 1 15 oz can/ or freshly cooked Garbanzo Beans (approx 2 C)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Lemon, juice and zest
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 1/2 T Parsley, Chopped
- 1/2 T Basil, chopped
- 1/4 C Olive Oil
- Kosher Salt & Black Ground Pepper to taste
Ingredients for Tomato Salsa
- 1 C Small cherry, pear, or plum tomatoes, finely diced
- 1 T shallot, finely minced
- squeeze of lemon
- 1 t parsley, finely chopped
- kosher salt & pepper to taste
Directions for Lamb Patty
Mix all ingredients together and form your patties (5”, 5oz patty) . Cook in a very hot cast iron pan with a little oil, 2-3 Min on each side for medium.
Directions for Lebne Spread
Mix all ingredients together in blender, thin with water if desired.
Directions for Garbanzo Mash
Mash together all ingredients until a chunky “hummus” is achieved.
Build your burger with the lebne spread, garbanzo mash, salsa, and patty and top with a sprinkle of Sumac.
