Roan Curtis began her acting career at the age of eight after announcing to her parents that she was going to be an actress and persuading them to sign her with one of Canada’s top talent agencies. The daughter of a former professional dancer-turned-movement instructor and a boutique clothing store owner, Curtis was raised in a close-knit community of Canadian artists and attended performing arts schools from a young age.
She is best known for her critically acclaimed, award-winning performance as Kate Mularkey on Netflix’s hit series Firefly Lane. Her work spans a wide range of film and television, with selected credits including Shut Eye (Hulu), The Magicians (SyFy), The Good Doctor (ABC), Before I Fall (20th Century), Supernatural (The CW) and Sidelined 2: Intercepted (Tubi).
