Marilu Henner sits down with Debbie and Cameron to talk about her role on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie series, “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.” The actress jokes that no matter how many of the movies she has done, 11 in total, she is still shocked when the culprit is revealed at the end. After her interview, she heads to the kitchen to whip up a delicious super smart salad.
Skehan Family Irish Stew
Chef Donal Skehan is in the kitchen making a St. Patrick’s Day favorite that he calls the Skehan Family Irish Stew. He uses bone-in lamb meat because it gives the stew extra flavor. After he adds all the veggies and stock, he layers the sliced potatoes on top giving it a nice finish. When done cooking, you can either serve the stew right away or let it sit overnight to maximize the flavors.

Mussels with New Potatoes with Grilled Corn Ragout
Chef Mark Peel is in the kitchen making a delicious dish of mussels with new potatoes and grilled corn ragout. He also adds a rule of of thumb that the best time enjoy mussels is months that have an “r” in them. He adds bacon to the dish because it brings a great smoky flavor to the crustaceans. He also explains that if you do not want to use mussels, you can always substitute in clams or shrimp.
