Washing Your Face for Younger Looking Skin with Kym Douglas
Kym Douglas reminds us of the danger of leaving makeup on overnight. She takes us behind closed doors to look at her nightly makeup removal routine.
Points:
1. Not washing off makeup before bed can dry out skin, make wrinkles more pronounced, and enlarge pores.
2. Wearing makeup to bed traps irritants and pollutants in skin overnight. 3. Your cell phone carries more than 20X the bacteria found on a toilet seat. 4. Washing your face with bar soap will dry our your skin, opt for a gentler facial cleanser. 5. Gel and foaming cleansers are best for oily skin and gentle creamy cleansers are best for dry skin. 6. Use lukewarm water for washing face. Anything too hot or cold could cause broken capillaries. 7. After washing your face, remember to always dry with a clean towel.
