Husband and wife Michael and Gina Spehn share their heartwarming story of love and loss in the Hallmark Movie Channel Original "The Color of Rain." When the two first met, they were each happily married to different spouses, who sadly lost battles with cancer just weeks apart. On her final days, Michael's wife encouraged him to reach out to Gina. The families' two sets of children further bonded the pair together. Michael and Gina explain they named their book "The Color of Rain" because of how they interpreted the symbolism of seeing a double rainbow in the sky. Now, the couple dedicates time to their non-profit organization, New Day Foundation for Families, which offers financial assistance to young families afflicted with cancer.
