Virtual Design with ZOOM interiors, LLC
ZOOM interiors, LLC co-founders Madeline Fraser, Beatrice Fischel-Bock, and Lizzie Grover are excited to announce that one lucky winner will receive a free Zoom Room Makeover! The transformation will be filmed for "Home & Family" and featured in "Reader's Digest." The designers walk us through the virtual design process, beginning with the Get Zoomed Survey that helps the ladies create a Zoom Board based on the client's interests and tastes. Before even stepping foot in your space, Madeline, Beatrice, and Lizzie map out their plans using floorplans and photos of the room. The creative threesome is putting their trust in the hands of "Home & Family" viewers. Head on over to our Facebook page to help decide which of two Zoom Boards will be the inspiration for our media room makeover.
For entry form and full contest rules to the Zoom Room Makeover Sweepstakes and to have the Zoom interiors team come to your home, text "ZOOM" to 51684, visit

Bokashi System with Sophie Uliano
Sophie Uliano explains how the Japanese version of composting, known as the bokashi system, turns food scraps into liquid gold to fertilize plants. Collect leftovers in a special bucket and sprinkle in magic powder that prevents bad odor. Seal it airtight, store in a warm room, and allow to ferment for two weeks before burying the remnants in your garden. Also, drain the liquid gold tea from the spigot weekly to use as fertilizer for house plants or as a drain opener.
