Mary Jane Butters
It's called glamping, a movement that combines the outdoors with style and empowers women to camp on their own terms. Today Mark & Paige welcome glampers, Mary Jane Butters and Kelle Arvay. Starting in the 70s Mary Jane was the 1st woman hired as a station guard for the US Forest Service and was stationed in the most remote station in the lower forty-eight. The lonely days in a man's world left Mary Jane wanting for "girly things." Flash-forward several decades and now Mary Jane is a pioneer for women enjoying the outdoors in style. Joined via Skype by fellow glamper Kelly Arvay, Mary Jane and Kelly show Mark & Paige their glamped out Airstream campers. And later, Mary Jane teaches us her recipe for her Campfire Banana Split.
