INGREDIENTS:
- Raw chestnuts
- Vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Score raw chestnuts using a sharp knife for scoring tool on the flat side
- Lightly coat scored chestnuts with oil
- Place chestnuts on baking sheet or in cast-iron pan
- Roast chestnuts for 20 minutes - shell will curl when ready
