Ingredients for Gingerbread
- 250g Butter
- 200g Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
- 600g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 4 tsp Ground Ginger
Ingredients for Quick Royal Icing
- 3 tbs Meringue Powder
- 1 pound Powdered Sugar
- 4-6 tbs Cold Water
Directions for Gingerbread
1) Melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup together.
2) Mix dry ingredients.
3) Add wet, hot mixture to dry. Stir/knead until it comes together. If too tight, add a
touch of water.
Directions for Icing
1) Whisk dry together
2) Add water in 1tbs increments until icing comes together and is thick
