Edie's Pumpkin Bars

Ingredients

Ingredients for Pumpkin Bars

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup oil

Ingredients for Frosting

  • 3 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ stick butter or oleo
  • 1 tbsp cream or canned milk
  • 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar

Directions for Pumpkin Bars

Starting from the bottom, add each ingredient to a large bowl and mix together. Put in a jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with higher sides) and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.


Directions for Frosting

Mix together and spread on cooled bars.
