Christy Carlson Romano is an Emmy-nominated actress, author, entrepreneur, content creator, host and advocate. A defining voice for a generation of Disney Channel fans, Romano became one of the rare performers to lead a Disney Channel series, a Disney Channel Original Movie, and an animated Disney Channel series in the same era.
Alongside her work in television and film, she began performing professionally at six years old in national tours of Broadway musicals including Annie, The Will Rogers Follies and The Sound of Music before making her Broadway debut in the Tony Award–winning musical Parade.
