Ellen Travolta is the oldest of the six Travolta children, John being the baby. Ellen attended Carnegie Mellon before beginning her career in Manhattan. She was in the Broadway/National Company of Gypsy starring Ethel Merman. Ellen’s theater career includes featured roles in Anything Goes, Hello Dolly!, Pippin, The Full Monty, Mame, and Bus Stop. Ellen’s television credits include Welcome Back Kotter, Happy Days, Joanie loves Chachi, The Love Boat, Charles in Charge, General Hospital, and Passions. Her television credits include Grease, The Basket, Mel, and Lonely Hearts. Ellen and her husband Jack Bannon toured with Love Letters until his passing in 2017. Ellen is enjoying a wonderful life with her two children, Tom and Molly, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. For the past 10 years Ellen has produced and performed in The Christmas Show at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, ID, along with her sister, daughter and granddaughter.
