Kylee Evans graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BMus. in Vocal Performance. Her early days were focused on classical music where she performed in numerous operas and operettas across Canada. Evans then went on to discover her true love of music theatre at Sheridan College and she’s been gracing stages across North America playing title roles ever since. Notable credits include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Shelly in Evil Dead the Musical and Elle in Legally Blonde, which earned her a Broadway World nomination.
Evans’ television experience includes recurring roles on "The Stanley Dynamic” for YTV and Guillermo Del Toro’s “The Strain” for FX, and “Life with Boys” for YTV. Other select credits include “Private Eyes” for Global, “Odd Squad” for PBS, and of course most notably as a series regular as one of the most beloved characters on the popular Hallmark Channel original series “Good Witch,” now shooting its sixth season.
Evans is also no stranger to the world of hosting for television. She was the host of “The Inbox” on Sportsnet before leaving to be case girl #19 on “Deal or No Deal” with Howie Mandel. These experiences propelled Evans to become the host along with her husband, Sandy Jobin-Bevans, of the primetime family game show “Just Like Mom and Dad” for YesTV, currently with two seasons on the air.
Evans also has an extensive background in comedy, having performed with the legendary Second City in Toronto and Detroit, and she has also been nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards. Evans has also provided her voice for various animated characters on such shows as “Wandering Wenda” on CBC and “The Cat in the Hat Knows a lot About That” for PBS Kids. Currently, you can hear her as the voice of Mrs. Hoozlewoo on “Esme and Roy” for Treehouse, as well as “Ollie’s Pack” for Nelvana. Evans’ voice can also be heard representing a variety of products and services on both sides of the border.
A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Kylee now resides in Toronto with her husband Sandy.
