Franco Lo Presti is a Canadian actor born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. Before acting, soccer was his first great pursuit, earning him a Division I scholarship to the University of Rhode Island before he moved to Italy to pursue a professional career. When that chapter came to an end, Lo Presti turned his attention to another lifelong interest: performing.
At 27, Lo Presti began studying acting seriously and soon discovered the craft that would become his career. He has since built an impressive body of work across film and television, with credits including HBO’s Heated Rivalry, NBC/Peacock’s Days of Our Lives and CBS’ Tracker, along with a growing collection of romantic comedies and holiday movies, including Hallmark Channel’s 14 Love Letters and Unwrapping Christmas.
Performance has been part of Lo Presti’s life for much longer. He began playing guitar at eight years old, studying classical guitar for five years before continuing independently. Lo Presti has also long written music and poetry. Whether through sports, music or acting, he has always been drawn to the same thing at the heart of each: the chance to perform, connect and tell a story
