Beau Mirchoff’s recent work includes series regular roles on both Freeform’s “Good Trouble” and Netflix’s “Narcos: Mexico.” Previously, he was a series regular on Starz’s Gregg Araki comedy “Now Apocalypse,” executive-produced by Steven Soderbergh. Before that, Mirchoff spent five seasons as series lead Matty of the critically acclaimed MTV comedy series “Awkward.” He also had recurring roles on Showtime’s comedy “I’m Dying Up Here” and NBC’s period drama “Aquarius” opposite David Duchovny. Mirchoff first earned notice on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” as Danny, the son of Drea de Matteo’s character. Born in Seattle and raised on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Mirchoff began acting at age 13, landing his first major role in Scary Movie 4. After recurring on the Canadian series “Heartland,” he landed the male lead role in The Grudge 3. After that he moved to Los Angeles at age 20, and has been there ever since. When not working, Mirchoff loves outdoor activities like van and tent camping, scuba diving, mountain hiking, kayaking, fishing and running (often with his Labradoodle, Cali). He is also a fan of all the Seattle sports teams – especially the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks.
