In Christmas in Evergreen, snowy weather—and wishes on a magic snow globe—lead Ryan and Zoe to an idyllic small town in Vermont. As they help Allie make her favorite frosted sugar cookies for the town festival, they get caught up in the joy of the season. Whether you make our Vermont Christmas Tree Cookies with friends or family, or you share them with the people you love, they’ll give you that warm, Christmas-y feeling, too.
Our snow globe cake is inspired by my late Aunt Becky (Amy’s older sister) and is flavored with pink champagne. Champagne is often used for toasts at Christmas time. This flavor reminds me of happy cheers around holiday gatherings.
We chose hot chocolate for the cake flavor inspiration because it’s our favorite beverage to enjoy on Christmas Eve! Ever since we were kids, our tradition with our families has been to read Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Our Baked Alaska is inspired by many family favorites in our southern kitchens at home. While we usually make these flavors of ice cream in the summertime, we bring these flavors to our Christmas table in this festive dessert.
