"I’ve always been a HUGE animal lover! I’ve rescued fallen birds, hurt squirrels, and helped lost animals find their way back home. My favorite story is when I found a cat in our backyard with no tags or chip. It was the cutest cat I’d ever seen. He was grey and looked like a tiger. I gave it some food and hoped it would find its way back home eventually, but days later he still lingered around, so I asked my dad if we could keep him until we found his home. We never did and we kept him. We called him Goofball. The name was quite appropriate because he would play fetch, run down the hall and jump off the walls, and would meow like he was trying to talk to us. He would even curl up with me at night and sleep along side of me. I miss that little guy!"
