Evan Roderick is a rising talent who captures the nostalgia of another time in his presence onscreen as a dynamic actor and on stage as a singer-songwriter. Though drawn to acting and performing as a child, Roderick did not begin acting professionally until much later. After several years and three seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) playing high-level hockey, Roderick opted to leave the sport in pursuance of his true passion: the performing arts. Since then, Roderick’s talent has landed him numerous exciting roles catching the industries’ attention in a short period of time.
Roderick was most recently seen in “A Tale of Two Christmases” and “Autumn in the City” for Hallmark Channel. He also recently starred in “Secrets of a Marine’s Wife” and “V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family.” Previously, he starred in the coveted leading role in Netflix’s “Spinning Out” opposite Kaya Scodelario and January Jones. “Spinning Out” follows Kat Baker (Scodelario) an up-and-coming elite figure skater who teams up with talented pair skater and resident bad boy Justin Davis (Roderick) after an injury ends her solo career.
Roderick has made appearances on a number of popular series including Netflix’s “Project MC2” and ABC’s “When We Rise.” More recently, on The CW’s hit show “Arrow,” he played Nick Anastasia.
Roderick’s creative talent extends further, as he has always been heavily involved with music. A self-taught guitar player and singer, he is simultaneously working on his music and his acting. An exciting year for an exciting emerging talent, Roderick shows no signs of slowing down.
