Rose is running for St. Olaf Woman of the Year and with a little help from Blanche and Dorothy.
At a baseball game, Sophia gets beaned this prompts Stan to talk her into filing a lawsuit for payment on her severe injuries, which he gets her to fake.
When Rory is invited to a celebration for her father's pregnant girlfriend, Lorelai is forced to attend as well. Meanwhile, Luke discovers that Jess has a surprising second job.
