Back in the early 2000’s, if you had looked up from your seat at Cirque du Soleil, there’s a very good chance you had been watching the stunning aerial acrobatics of Olivier Renaud. Before landing on the ground to take up acting, where he honed his craft of Meisner in New York under Terry Knickerbocker, Renaud learned clowning in Paris under Philippe Gaulier and toured with Cirque du Soleil’s show, Saltimbanco, and performed in the resident Las Vegas show, The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. Now, on screen, he is well known as Brutus in the series “Astrid and Lilly Save the World,” as well as for his starring roles in “Snow Angel” and “Christmas in Big Sky Country.” Coming up, he stars in the second season of “Paris Paris,” where he works alongside Maxim Roy and Ben Maufette.
