Currently starring in a lead role on season two of the gritty crime thriller “Cardinal” for CTV and Hulu, Keltz has also starred on the CW series “Reign” playing Leith, a kitchen boy-turned-war hero who is the loyal protector of Francis II, King of France. In addition, Keltz recently completed production as a producer and one of the lead actors in Acquainted, an independent film about the unpredictability of modern relationships. This film marks Keltz’s debut as a producer with his production company, Fired Up Studios.
Keltz was inspired to pursue acting by his first drama teacher Victoria Silvestri. He was also moved to his career by Kenneth Branagh’s performance in Hamlet, as well as by a Master Class with Alan Arkin. He got his start in Toronto in a recurring role on “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” and later appeared opposite Heather Graham in Cake, followed by the role of Chris Cooper’s son in Breach for Universal. His additional notable credits include playing Ari Gold’s assistant, Jake Steinberg, on HBO’s “Entourage” and co-starring roles in Disney’s Prom as well as 21 & Over opposite Miles Teller. Keltz’s other television credits include a recurring role on the final season of “Necessary Roughness” for USA and guest star roles on “Man Seeking Woman,” “Flashpoint,” “Leverage” and “Breakout Kings.”
Keltz currently resides in Los Angeles.
