Erika Slezak graduated with honors from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. She began her career in repertory theatre, playing roles in everything from Euripides to Noel Coward. She is best known for her Daytime Emmy Award winning portrayal of Victoria Lord in ABC’s “One Life to Live.” Slezak won the prestigious award in 1984, 1986, 1992, 1995 and 1996. In 2005, she broke her own record as the most-honored actress in Daytime Emmy history, when she won her sixth Outstanding Lead Actress award. Recently, Slezak’s work can be seen on the CBS drama “Blue Bloods” and FOX’s “The Resident.” She also appeared opposite Jeff Daniels in his film Guest Artist. In November of 2002, Slezak was inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ esteemed Silver Circle.
