Mysteries this May on Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel presents three all-new cozy mysteries during the month of May! The premiere movies kick off Saturday, May 16 at 8/7c with “Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” starring Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven.

One week later, catch Katherine McNamara, Markian Tarasiuk, Nikki DeLoach and Benjamin Ayres in “True Justice: Eye for an Eye” on Saturday, May 23 at 8/7c.

Finally, look out for "Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Key to the Castle" starring Tamera Mowry-Housley, Risteard Cooper and Marco Grazzini premiering Saturday May 30 at 8/7c!

In this series of movies, star Alison Sweeney plays a longtime baker and unassuming sleuth. In the latest installment, when a suspect in a forgery case is murdered and the prosecutor goes missing, Hannah and Chad must uncover how the two cases are connected and solve them in time for the trial. No stranger to the camera, Sweeney began her acting at age four and at age 16, she joined the cast of “Days of Our Lives.” In addition to her long-running career as Sami Brady, for which she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Lead Actress, Sweeney also hosted numerous live television specials and 13 seasons of “The Biggest Loser," as well as many guest-starring roles on iconic television series and true crime podcasts. Sweeney’s love for storytelling extends to her writing of books including her popular novels The Star Attraction, Scared Scriptless, and Opportunity Knocks, based on her Hollywood insider’s knowledge and her keen sense of romance and fun. In addition to her fiction writing, Sweeney previously released two non-fiction books, All the Days of My Life (So Far) and The Mommy Diet.

Alison recently starred in the Hallmark Channel original romantic movie “Romance at Hope Ranch” which also included her daughter Megan Sanov!

Victor Webster discovered his passion for acting when he made his television debut on the NBC daytime drama “Days of Our Lives.” He then segued to the AMC network series “The Lot” and the number one syndicated series “Mutant X.” An artist to his core, Webster pursues his passion for photography and martial arts, holding a black belt and undefeated record in tae kwon do, and a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu.

Besides the Hannah Swensen mystery movies, you can also catch Victor Webster starring alongside Danica McKellar in three Matchmaker Mysteries movies streaming on Hallmark+.

Next up is “True Justice: Eye for an Eye” on Saturday May 23 at 8/7c. In the second installment of the True Justice movies, Our Warriors work to exonerate a mother wrongly accused of murdering another mother in the Parent School Coalition.

Tamera Mowry-Housley is an Emmy award-winning host, actress, producer, and entrepreneur who has captivated audiences for over 20 years.

She started her career in Hollywood alongside her sister, Tia, on the hit show “Sister, Sister,” which aired over 100 episodes from 1994-1999 and has gone on to see a cultural revival over the past few years since it was released on Netflix. Mowry-Housley’s work on the show gained praise and recognition; she received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and Kid’s Choice Award for Favorite Television Actress. She returned to the screen with Tia on the hit Style Network reality TV series “Tia and Tamera,” which chronicled her life as she balanced her acting career along with major life transformations of marriage and motherhood.
