Born and raised in a small town on Vancouver Island, Kayla Wallace spent most of her childhood on the stage. Whether it was in a play, dance recital or singing in a coffee shop, Wallace knew from a young age that the arts were her chosen career path. Her love for musical theatre blossomed into a passion for film and television when she studied at The Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2011-2012. Wallace moved to Vancouver in 2014 to pursue her dream career and continues to train with determination and dedication to her craft.
Prior to her role as Fiona Miller on Hallmark Channel’s original primetime series “When Calls the Heart,” Wallace appeared on ABC’s “The Good Doctor” and on Freeform’s “Breckman Rodeo,” and had leading roles on “Terrified at 17,” “Counterfeiting in Suburbia,” “Killer Ending” and “Once Upon a Prince,” to name a few.
