Two New Mystery Premieres
Hallmark Channel presents two all-new cozy mysteries during the month of March! The premiere movies kick off Saturday, March 7 at 8/7c with “Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” starring Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven.
One week later, catch Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith in “Nelly Knows Mysteries: All Manners of Murder” on Saturday, March 14 at 8/7c.

Hannah Swensen Mysteries
In this series of movies, star Alison Sweeney plays a longtime baker and unassuming sleuth. In the latest installment, Hannah finds a body at the grand re-opening of the Lake Eden Inn. More about Alison Sweeney
No stranger to the camera, Sweeney began her acting at age four and at age 16, she joined the cast of “Days of Our Lives.” In addition to her long-running career as Sami Brady, for which she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Lead Actress, Sweeney also hosted numerous live television specials and 13 seasons of “The Biggest Loser," as well as many guest-starring roles on iconic television series and true crime podcasts. Sweeney’s love for storytelling extends to her writing of books including her popular novels The Star Attraction, Scared Scriptless, and Opportunity Knocks, based on her Hollywood insider’s knowledge and her keen sense of romance and fun. In addition to her fiction writing, Sweeney previously released two non-fiction books, All the Days of My Life (So Far) and The Mommy Diet.
Alison recently starred in the Hallmark Channel original romantic movie “Romance at Hope Ranch” which also included her daughter Megan Sanov!

Victor Webster discovered his passion for acting when he made his television debut on the NBC daytime drama “Days of Our Lives.” He then segued to the AMC network series “The Lot” and the number one syndicated series “Mutant X.” An artist to his core, Webster pursues his passion for photography and martial arts, holding a black belt and undefeated record in tae kwon do, and a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu.

Nelly Knows Mysteries: All Manners of Murder
Next up is “Nelly Knows Mysteries: All Manners of Murder” on Saturday March 14 at 8/7c. In the second installment of the Nelly Knows Mysteries movies, advice columnist Nelly is invited to a dinner at Grand Arlott manor after encouraging an eccentric widow to reconcile with her estranged family and brings Detective Hogan as her date.
You can stream the first movie, “Nelly Knows Mysteries: A Fatal Engagement” available now on Hallmark+. In this movie series, star Pascale Hutton teams up with her longtime “When Calls the Heart” co-star Kavan Smith! As fans of the show will know, they star as Rosemary and Lee, a married couple who continue to find adventure in their community of Hope Valley.

Pascale Hutton grew up in the Kootenays and later went on to achieve her BFA: acting from the University of Alberta. Throughout her career she has worked in theatre, film, and TV. Her original romantic Hallmark movies include “The Perfect Bride” and “The Perfect Bride: Wedding Bells,” as well as "You Had Me at Aloha" which she co-produced along with her When Calls the Heart costar Kavan Smith! Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Kavan Smith and his brother were raised by his father when his parents divorced. He excelled in many sports as a child and focused on football and martial arts. During his teenage years he cultivated a love for performing with a friend. He landed a lead role on the Canadian television show Destiny Ridge and moved to Vancouver. Smith has been continuously adding versatile film and television roles to his acting repertoire since discovering his passion for performance.
