Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Jake Manley has broken into the US market with much fanfare. Jake has played a variety of roles in various genres including comedy, action and thriller/syfy. Recent credits include the successful American crime drama Infamous opposite Bella Thorne. Released wide on iTunes, Amazon and all VOD platforms, Infamous is a Gen-Z Bonnie & Clyde story; Manley and Thorne star as “Dean and Arielle”, a young couple robbing their way across the southern United States, posting their criminal acts to social media and going viral in the process. Soon to be released projects include the Lionsgate Films feature, Creepers and Mario van Peebles’ Outlaw Posse. Manley’s other notable indie credit is Pursuit, where he played alongside John Cusack. The film was released in 2022.
Manley’s other credits include the lead role of “Jack Morton”, in the hit Netflix series, The Order. The horror fantasy series ran for 2 successful seasons and thrust Manley’s character into a world of magic and monsters while uncovering dark family secrets. He was also a part of the star studded Netflix Christmas comedy, Holidate, where he played opposite Emma Roberts.
Prior to his Netflix and Indie success, Manley was seen in Lionsgate’s Midway alongside Woody Harrelson, Dennis Quaid, and Mandy Moore. Directed by Roland Emmerich, the action/thriller follows the historic Battle of Midway, told by the leaders and the sailors who courageously fought it. Manley can also be seen in A Dog’s Journey, Heroes: Reborn, Brotherhood, and American Gods, amongst others.
