Meghann Fahy is a multi-talented actress who began her career on stage but has since expanded far beyond the theater to a career in film and television. She currently stars in Freeform’s popular series, “The Bold Type,” which begins its third season this spring. The show follows three best friends, Sutton (Fahy), Kat (Aisha Dee), and Jane (Katie Stevens) who all work for Scarlet, the top women’s magazine in New York City. The series explores their lives in the city and their adventures in love, identity and fashion. Faye was nominated for a 2018 Teen Choice Award for her continuing role of Sutton Brady, a hard-working fashion assistant who overcomes struggles with relationships, work promotions, financial hardships and the direction of her career.

Fahy began her career on Broadway in 2010, when she starred as Natalie Goodman in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical, Next to Normal. Around this time, she also landed her first television role as Hannah O’Connor in ABC’s “One Life to Live.” From there, Fahy’s career in film and television began and she has starred and recurred in series such as “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” “The Good Wife,” “Necessary Roughness,” “Political Animals,” “Chicago Fire,” “Gossip Girl” and “Blue Bloods.” On the big screen, Fahy has enjoyed supporting roles in Miss Sloane, starring Jessica Chastain, as well as the independent features Burning Bodhi, Those People and License Plates.

Fahy currently resides in New York City.
