From an early age Jaicy Elliot knew she wanted to pursue a career in acting. Elliot was constantly surrounded by a wealth of culture since she grew up with an American father and French mother. A native of Grenoble, France, she moved to the states when she was 21. With her father being a visual artist, her parents always pushed her and her sister to lean with creativity in everything they did. Elliot got her start by auditioning for the theater company Upstage at 15 years old. From there, she booked her first supporting role as Hal in The Lady Killers.
Once she finished high school, Elliot decided to take the next step toward her acting career and moved to Paris to study theater at the prestigious Cours Florent alongside well-known actors such as Diane Kruger and Sebastian Roché. She studied in the city for five years before deciding to relocate to Los Angeles to see what opportunities were available there. Elliot credits her family and childhood teachers as the influences who encouraged her to pursue her dreams of working in the industry.
Her big break came when she booked the role as intern Taryn Helm on the long-running ABC medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.” The star-studded cast also includes Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., and Justin Chambers to name a few. The show is will be starting its 20th season and produced more than 400 episodes. Elliot also starred in the Primetime Emmy nominated digital short series “Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team.” Her role has earned her recognition within the industry, and she was featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with her fellow intern castmates including Jake Borelli, Rushi Kota, Alex Blue Davis, Sophia Ali and Giacomo Gianniotti.
When not acting, Elliot is also a celebrity ambassador for Valley Community Healthcare, which brings affordable healthcare to low-income communities in the San Fernando Valley.
