This marks the first time a project has brought you behind the camera as a producer for a Hallmark Channel movie. What about I’ll Be Seeing You made it the right story to step into that role, and what has stood out most about collaborating with the creative team from a producer’s perspective?
Tyler: "I have a deep respect and admiration for this audience, and I'm always interested in finding ways to be of service to them. I share that same sentiment with the artists and craftsman who tell these stories and build these experiences. My wish was just to create an environment where everybody can do their best work and be proud of the stories they’re telling for their friends and loved ones, while not being the weakest link myself."
You reunited with Christine Ebersole after working together on Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Can you share how it was to work with her again?
Tyler: "Imagine a warm summer's day with the birds singing with the voices of 1000 angels…that’s what it was like reuniting with Christine Ebersole. That, and we went grocery shopping together :)."
The heart‑shaped sunglasses quickly became a fan favorite. How did that detail come together on set, and how has it resonated with audiences?
Tyler: "I’m not sure there’s a more appropriate symbol than the heart eyes emoji 😍 when it comes to this audience. When I saw those glasses, a beam of light cascaded across them, they drifted from the display and landed on my face. I had no say in the matter."
This film pairs you with Hallmark Channel favorite Stacey Farber for the first time. How did the two of you and the broader cast work together to build that on‑screen chemistry and tone?
Tyler: "Hand hugs, and the gift of song."
Road trips are such a big part of the movie’s heart. From the team’s conversations on set, what elements do you think really make a great road‑trip experience — whether it’s music, food, or the overall vibe?
Tyler: "If you’re going on a road trip, try to include two wise and rambunctious friends, as well as perhaps someone you might fall in love with. That’ll probably make for a good road trip."
Spring Into Love always highlights stories rooted in connection and emotion. What do you think audiences will connect with most in I’ll Be Seeing You, and how does the song that inspired the film help shape that feeling?
Tyler: "The song “I’ll Be Seeing You”, which has been covered by every incredible artist in time, has become an anthem for me when I tour and meet with the lovely folks who watch these movies. So the fact that it’s not only the title of this movie, but the first project I wanted to build with them in mind, it’s also featured in the film. This is a beautiful full-circle moment years in the making. I see it as a flag in the ground commemorating what is coming up on a decade long relationship I’ve had with the folks who watch these particular movies, and this sentiment couldn’t be more beautiful to me."
