Richard Karn is well known to television audiences for his extraordinary eight seasons performing as Al Borland opposite Tim Allen on “Home Improvement.” He currently recurs on the Hulu hit comedy “Pen15” and will return in their upcoming second season. A diverse entertainer, Karn performed for four seasons as host of the iconic game show “Family Feud” and has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. His many notable film and television performances include “Last Man Standing,” Air Bud, Snow Buddies, Desperately Seeking Susan and “That 70s Show,” among others.

Other credits include “A Daughter’s Nightmare” for Lifetime, “Detroiters” for Comedy Central, as well as independent films Amanda and the Fox, F*&% the Prom, The Horse Dancer, and Gordon Family Tree. Karn has performed on Broadway in Me and My Girl and starred in the title role in Larry Shue’s The Foreigner. Other New York Theater includes Losing It and The Other Shore.
