Osric Chau is a Chinese-Malaysian Canadian Filmmaker from Vancouver Canada and has been a working actor for over 20 years. Getting his starts as a martial artist doing stunt work, Osric quickly transitioned to being an actor and his work has spanned all mediums and genres. From 6 seasons on CW’s horror drama “Supernatural” to playing an insane energy vampire as a series regular in “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” to becoming the first Asian American superhero on TV as ‘The Atom’ in the Arrowverse crossover events. His dramatic work includes a recurring guest star in “Nancy Drew” and the Canadian series “Blood and Water” where Osric’s performance earned him a Leo Award. Osric also became one of the first Asian leading man in a Hallmark film in 2022’s “Christmas at the Golden Dragon” and is a lead in Hallmark’s first ever Christmas series “Holidazed” coming out later this year. Over the last few years, Osric has put his focus on producing with his first feature, “Empty by Design”, which premiered as the Closing Night Film of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. His second feature, “Superhost” was sold directly to Shudder as a Shudder Original, and his third feature “Jonah” premiered at the Austin Film Festival. Along with his acting, Osric is now focused on producing genre films for a worldwide audience.
