Warren Christie was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but spent most of his childhood in London, Ontario. He left London for Windsor after being recruited to play college football. It was during these years that Christie developed his love for performing and decided to pursue it as a career. This decision led him to Vancouver, where his rugged good looks and keen acting ability quickly landed him desirable leading roles.
Christie’s starring roles in Hallmark Channel Original Movies include “Crashing Through the Snow,” “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and, most recently Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “The More Love Grows.”
Christie currently stars as Matthew on Freeform’s “The Watchful Eye,” and has been a series regular on “The Village,” “The Resident,” “The Catch” and “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.” From 2005 to 2007, Christie had a lead role on the ABC series “October Road,” playing a cocky construction company owner. From 2007 to present, Christie has worked on several TV pilots including “The Prince of Motor City,” “House Rules” and Sci-Fi’s “ALPHAS.” He also had a recurring role on the ABC series “Happy Town’’ as well as guest starring roles on “Flashpoint” and “Supernatural.”
