Jessy Schram currently stars in the NBC and Dick Wolf produced series “Chicago Med” playing Dr. Hannah Asher. At age of 18, Schram made the bold step of moving to Los Angeles where she immediately started work on the TV series “Jane Doe” opposite Leah Thompson and began to accrue a long list of acting credits including leading series regular roles in Steven Spielberg’s TNT drama “Falling Skies” and ABC’s “Last Resort.” She also completed major arcs on the popular series “Nashville” and received critical acclaim for her role as Bonnie Whiteside on the award-winning drama “Mad Men.” She played opposite Christina Ricci in the TV miniseries “Lizzie Borden” and is still beloved as Cinderella, her recurring role on ABC’s fairytale drama “Once Upon a Time.” Other recurring roles include “Veronica Mars” and “Medium,” in which she took on the role of a young Patricia Arquette.

Schram is continually drawn to the world of independent film. She appeared opposite Lake Bell and Jon Bernthal in Shot Caller and worked alongside Finn Wittrock and Emilie de Ravin in The Submarine Kid, as well as with Jeff Garlin, Sarah Silverman and Amy Sedaris in the ensemble comedy I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With. She has also worked with the late film director Tony Scott, playing opposite Chris Pine in the action-thriller blockbuster, Unstoppable.

Schram is a familiar face to Hallmark Channel viewers from her many starring roles over the years. Her leading roles for the network include “A Royal New Year’s Eve,” “The Birthday Wish,” “Harvest Moon,” “A Smile as Big As The Moon,” “Road to Christmas,” “Amazing Winter Romance,” “Time For Them To Come Home for Christmas,” “Country at Heart” and “Nashville Christmas Carol.”

In addition to acting, Schram discovered her groove for music as a singer/song-writing solo artist, as well as touring with Joan Baby’s soul band, performing at places like The Knitting Factory, Hard Rock Cafe, Tweeter Center, Soldier Field, Navy Pier, Hancock Music Center and many more. When not performing, Schram spent time fine-tuning her talents with various producers, songwriters, musicians, vocal coaches and choreographers, and over the years, she has had the privilege to collaborate with Jim Peterik of The Ides of March and Survivor, and Suave of Hip Hop Connxion.

Schram’s passion and dedication has helped fulfill her dreams and goals. Not only is she a role model for other aspiring performers, but she is actively involved in working with different charities, visiting orphaned children in Baja, Mexico, through a group called Corazon De Vida. When time allows, she helps out at her church’s local soup kitchen and Project Angel Food in Los Angeles.
