Steve Bacic was born in Croatia and raised in Windsor, Ontario.

After earning a degree in kinesiology and a minor in math he decided to leave academia and try the entertainment industry.

Since that time, Bacic has garnered international recognition with leading roles in television series such as “Arrow” on The CW, “Aftermath” for SyFy, the CBS series “NCIS” and “CSI: Miami” and the long-running NBC hit drama, “ER.”

Bacic is a leading man who is equally comfortable playing dramatic and comedic roles. He has appeared as a series regular on SyFy’s “Andromeda,” “The Guard” for Global, “Crash & Burn” for Showcase and the critically acclaimed HBO series, “Big Love.” Hallmark viewers will recognize Bacic from his starring role in the “Garage Sale Mysteries” movie franchise.

His recent television roles include recurring on the Netflix series “Julie and the Phantoms,” “Virgin River” and “The Order,” as well as “Hit the Road” for Audience. Bacic has worked with some leading names in the business including Anthony Hopkins in the feature Go with Me, Arnold Schwarzenegger in Why We’re Killing Gunther, and Julia Roberts in Wonder. He has guest starred on The CW’s “Supernatural,” Freeform’s “Motherland” and Steven Spielberg’s “The Whispers” for ABC. Additional credits include roles on NBC’s “Taken,” CBS’s “Ransom,” The CW’s “The 100,” and he endured heavy prosthetics for a starring role on “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” for ABC.

Bacic starred as Anna Gunn’s husband on the pilot “Rita” for Bravo, was a series regular on the HUB children’s series “Spooksville,” and guest starred on the network’s “Haunting Hour” and also recurred on Hallmark Channel’s original primetime series “When Calls the Heart.”

Bacic moved to Vancouver from his hometown of Windsor in 1990. His breakout role was as a significant guest star on the hit television series, “21 Jump Street,” which was the largest role ever given to a Canadian on the show at that time. Since his debut, he has worked consistently in both Canada and the United States, accumulating close to 130 credits and 20 years of non- stop work.

Bacic continues to devote himself to the art of acting with the same passion that led him to a successful career and which will guarantee his place as one of Hollywood’s leading men.
