Kim Shaw was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Growing up in southern Florida, Shaw loved being outdoors. She was a competitive horseback rider, captain of the lacrosse team and president of the Drama and Thespian clubs in High School.
After graduating from Lake Brantley High, Shaw moved to New York City to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She began working in film and television after completing their two-year program.
In 2009, Shaw moved to Los Angeles, and she currently splits her time between there and Brooklyn, New York. She is known for “I Just Want My Pants Back” (2012), Animals (2014) and “Saving Hope” (2012).
