Actor and musician Paul Greene defines his life by four essential qualities: fatherhood, fitness, faith, and family. Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, Greene was raised on a farm and learned first-hand the importance of hard work. Upon his high school graduation, he left for college on a volleyball scholarship and was quickly discovered by renowned talent agent, Kelly Streit. At the age of 18, he immediately became an international success in the fashion and commercial worlds; moving to Europe and Asia, working for hundreds of brands, traveling the globe, and eventually ending up in New York for nearly a decade. New York is where Greene went to school for Acting with Stella Adler, Uta Hagen and Susan Batson having his heart and eyes set west towards Los Angeles.
After Greene’s son was born, the creative call of acting directed him to move to Los Angeles, where he continued to book commercials and garnered success as a series regular and guest star in more than 50 projects to date, including “NCIS,” “CSI,” “The Newsroom,” “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” and “Bitten” to name a few. Coined the “Cary Grant of Hallmark Channel,” “Christmas CEO” will mark his ninth movie with the network. He has also been a much-loved resident of Hope Valley since season four of the ratings juggernaut Hallmark original primetime series, “When Calls the Heart,” in the role of the town doctor, Carson Shepherd.
When not working in his chosen field, Greene enjoys, writing, flying planes, riding motorcycles, making music, camping, and being a dad. He finds immense joy in helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. With a deep passion for music, he expresses his creativity by singing and songwriting. Greene, who lost his father to ALS, has also made a life-long commitment to raising funds and awareness for the disease and other socially responsible causes that are important to him. Greene lives in Los Angeles with his growing family.
