Leo Award winner Emily Tennant grew up in the Vancouver suburbs and started her career at a young age. After landing lead roles in two school productions, it was obvious she was meant for the stage and screen.

Since landing her first audition at the age of 10, Tennant has gone on to star in numerous television productions such as the Golden Globe nominated “Dark Angel” with Jessica Alba and Stephen King’s drama series “Kingdom Hospital,” in which she had a recurring role. Her other guest appearances include “Falling Skie,s” “Finding Carter” and “Supernatural,” to name a few. In 2011, Tennant booked the role of Ivy, a series regular role she played for three seasons on YTV’s hit series, “Mr. Young,” followed by a recurring role in Hallmark Channel’s fan favorite “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove.” More recently, she had a two episode guest star arc on the series finale of ABC/CTV’s “Motive”.

Tennant has appeared in numerous feature films such as Warner Bros’ “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” “Frankie & Alice” alongside Halle Berry and the Oscar-winning blockbuster “Juno,” starring Ellen Page and Michael Cera. On the small screen, she’s played lead roles opposite Billy Ray Cyrus in Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas in Canaan” and opposite Dina Meyer in Odyssey Media’s “Truth & Lies.”

Next, Tennant can be seen in the upcoming feature film “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage,” starring Nicholas Cage, and Matt Lanter.
