Eric Winter is a versatile talent who started his career as a model, appearing in high-profile campaigns for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and starring opposite Britney Spears in the campaign for her perfume Curious. He subsequently transitioned to acting and has been seen in both dramatic and comedic roles in film and television.
On television, Winter was last seen recurring in FOX’s “Rosewood” opposite Morris Chestnut and he co-starred in Lifetime’s “Witches of East End” opposite Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Julia Ormond. Notable recent credits include recurring roles in ABC’s “Secrets and Lies,” CBS’ hit crime drama “The Mentalist” and ABC’s “GCB,” as well as a guest starring role on TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles.” Among his previous series credits are ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters,” CBS’ cult vampire drama “Moonlight,” “The Ex-List,” “Viva Laughlin,” “CSI,” “Pepper Dennis,” and “Love, Inc.” Winter starred opposite Alyssa Milano in Lifetime’s television movie “Sundays at Tiffany’s.”
Winter is also a name in big screen comedies and dramas. In 2008, he co-starred in the second installment in the Harold & Kumar series, playing the role of Colton in the cult comedy Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. He then went on to land a leading role in New Line’s romantic comedy The Ugly Truth opposite Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler. Additional credits include the action thriller Fire with Fire with Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson, and Bruce Willis and Sam Esmail’s Comet with Emmy Rossum and Justin Long. He was a voice star, alongside Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, in Sony Play Station’s acclaimed video game “Beyond Two Souls.”
Winter has many accomplishments outside of the acting world. He recently produced “Death of a Showgirl” for Lifetime and is currently producing the children’s animated series “La Golda.” He and his wife, actress Roselyn Sanchez, co-wrote the children’s book “Sebi and the Land of Cha Cha Cha,” published in September by Celebra/Penguin.
