Total Time: 35 minutes
Hands Time: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 large egg yolk
1-1/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 white chocolate bars (about 1-1/2 ounces each)
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
2.In a bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the butter and brown sugar. Beat in the egg yolk. Add the flour, cocoa, salt and vanilla.
3.Spread the mixture into a greased rimmed baking sheet (about 9-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches). Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until browned and shrinking from the pan sides.
4.Remove from the oven and lay the chocolate bars over the cookie base and then sprinkle with the mini chocolate chips. When the chocolate is melted, spread it evenly over the cookie base, keeping swirls of the darker chocolate. Cut into 24 bars while still warm.
