Rose becomes concerned about nuclear war. This prompts her to write letters to Gorbachev and Reagan. She's stunned when she gets a response and learns that Gorbechev would like to meet her.

The girls help in a campaign to get Gil Kessler elected as local official. To his advantage, his chances of winning are boosted when reporters snap photos of Blanche entering his home one evening.

On his flight to Acapulco, Frasier meets a supermodel. The two hit it off big time, but before Frasier heads back, he is sworn to secrecy not to let anyone know he's dating her. It soon gets harder for Frasier to keep the secret, as others continue to think he can't find a girlfriend. Finally, when Frasier admits that he's going out with a supermodel, the others believe he's finally lost his mind.

Each and every year Niles and Frasier compete to buy their dad the best birthday gift ever, and this year they're at it again. They go through countless gifts, one after another trying to out do each other, even if it affects them. But who will find the perfect gift?

Frasier is shocked when Roz tells him she may be pregnant. He promises to keep it a secret, but when he heads over to Niles's Holloween party, keeping it a secret is no easy task. Things begin to go hay-wire as Niles over hears Frasier and Daphne talking about it, and mistakes Daphne as the one being pregnant, and Frasier being the father. The word spreads throughout the party, going from one person to another, but completely different than from what it originated from.

It's the 1000 episode of Frasier's radio show, and Seattle is celebrating "Frasier Crane Day" for the occasion. Frasier gets himself ready for the big day, and prepares a speach. When the day finally arrives he and Niles head out on foot, which turns out to be a bad idea. Problem after problem develops, as Frasier and Niles try to make it to the ceremony before it's too late.

Frasier is estatic about being picked to do a show as a celebrity on a luxury curuise. His excitement soon turns to disappointment as he realises the other celebrity's on the cruise are half-class acts. Mean while, Maris and Niles are having problems as Maris claims to have taken off to Switzerland. Niles soon realises that Maris is on the cruise as well, and decides to set things right.

Carla's daughter insists on having her father walk her down the aisle, despite Carla's objections.

The gang finds out that Frasier has officially divorced from Lilith so they try to cheer him up with a party. The party leads to a little drinking which leads to an unexpected shared moment between Frasier and Rebecca.

Lucy wants her baby to be raised in the "proper vocal environment," so she hires a tutor to teach Ricky proper English diction.

With all the attention that mother-to-be Lucy has been getting, father-to-be Ricky feels neglected.

No child should grow up without artistic influence, so Lucy takes up sculpting.

With the baby due at any moment, Ricky and the Mertzes carefully rehearse the trip to the hospital. But when the fateful moment actually comes, things don't go quite so smoothly.

When Lucy buys yet another new gadget, Ricky complains that she's got no sales resistance.

A handsome psychiatrist might be the cure for Lucy's inferiority complex.

Blanche makes a move at Ted, Stan's brother. She is furious when she discovers the only woman Ted is apparently interested in is Dorothy.

Rose's cousin Sven, arrives in Miami just prior to him being married by arrangement. However, when Blanche plays a trick on her latest beau, which involves Sven, the naive groom falls for her.

Dorothy is stunned to learn that Stan's tax problems are her tax problems since Stan is being audited for a number of years when they were still married.

Constant bickering, causes the girls to seek help from a therapist. This prompts the girls to reminisce about times they didn't get along.
