Liam Cunningham (Father Robinson) – Irish-born Liam Cunningham was an electrician in the mid-1980s when he saw an advertisement for acting lessons.  Encouraged by his wife, he decided to give it a try.  A month after leaving his “day job,” Liam Cunningham was the lead in a new Irish play and followed that with a US tour in another Irish play.  Born in 1961 in Ireland’s North Wall area, Liam and his wife Collette have a daughter and two sons.  Liam was nominated as Best Actor for the Royal Television Society for his roles in “Cracker, Best Boys.”  Liam Cunningham has most recently been seen in the highly profiled and award-winning miniseries “Attila” (USA Networks) and “RKO 281” (Show time.).

Brana Bajic (Mother Robinson)  – British thespian Brana Brajic (“In the Beginning”) has also given extraordinary performances in “Richard II,” playing Queen Isabel, wife of King Richard.  Brajic has also played “Friella” in “P5:  The Professionals” and been in the British series “Randall & Hopkirk.”

Roger Allam (Blunt) – Roger Allam’s portrayal of “Walt Disney” in the Golden Globe winning and Emmy nominated “RKO 281” drew rave reviews.  Mr. Allam has also lent his considerable talents to TV series “The Creatives,” TV movie “The Fairy Queen,” “A Landing on the Sun,” “The Investigation:  Inside a Terrorist Bombing” (a look at the Birmingham Six case, which drew considerable attention in Britain and Ireland in the 1980s and 1990s and the 1989 feature “The Misadventures of Mr. Wilt.”

Jesse Spencer (Fritz Robinson) – Jesse Spencer stars this year in “Swimming Upstream” with Geoffrey Rush, Judy Davis, Ben Savage and Michael Moriarity.  Prior to “Stranded,” Mr. Spencer was last seen in “Winning London” with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.  Further, Mr. Spencer was the voice of “Triton, Jr.” in “Disney’s Hercules,” the popular animated feature film.

Charlie Lucas (Jacob Robinson at Age Nine) – Charlie Lucas received rave reviews for his 2000 telefilm “Deceit,” playing the son of a well-to-do father who disappears from his yacht.  Charlie Lucas’s other notable film was the Franco Zefferelli feature “Tea with Mussolini,” starring Maggie Smith.  Charlie Lucas shares the role of Jacob Robinson with Andrew Lee Potts who picks the role up at age sixteen.

Rupert Holliday-Evans (Roberts) – Rupert Holliday-Evans made one of his first acting appearances in the Steve Martin, Michael Caine film “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”  Mr. Holliday-Evans also appeared with Jane Horrocks (“Absolutely Fabulous”) and Helena Bonham Carter in “Getting It Right.”  Subsequently, the actor also appeared in the all-star version of “Wuthering Heights” starring Janet McTeer, Juliette Binoche, Sophie Ward and Ralph Fiennes.  Mr. Holliday-Evans first worked with director Charles Beeson on four of the “First Sight” movies.
