After receiving a 911 call, police rush to an ordinary home in an ordinary L.A. neighborhood, where a gruesome crime has occurred.  Tom Mitchell and his wife Sue lie bleeding and unconscious in their kitchen.  Tom, a Marine medic who served in Afghanistan, made the 911 call before he blacked out.  Detective Roberta Hansen and the forensics team find no immediate signs of an intruder, making Tom, whose injuries aren’t as severe as his wife’s, a possible suspect.  more
