Leslie Clyde Onstott is a septuagenarian who can no longer take care of her large home – or herself. When one of her caregivers contacts Clyde’s long-lost grandson to come take care of his aging relative, ne’er-do-well Richie – in debt to a loan shark – eagerly takes off for Harmony, Texas hoping to leave his lender in the dust.
Amid mutual suspicions, resentment and regret, this quick fix answer to both their problems raises sensitive issues about just how much Clyde and Richie really know – and need – each other.
