Marco Polo

A classic, 12th century story of adventure and discovery come to life in this Hallmark Channel original movie. Young Marco Polo (Ian Somerhalder, “Lost”) travels with his father and uncle to China and the court of the great emperor Kublai Kahn (Brian Dennehy). Marco's youthfulness and outspoken nature wins favor with the Kahn and, while the others are sent home, he is told to stay. So begins a 17 year odyssey that Marco faithfully records of his adventures in a far away and mysterious kingdom. Love, loyalty, endurance and betrayal are all tested as Marco travels the land on behalf of the Kahn bringing back many fascinating discoveries while wondering… if he will ever see home again. B.D. Wong and Desiree Ann Siahaan also star in this epic story.
