The cattle barons commission a hired gun, Hunt Lawton (Burt Reynolds) as Marshal.

He's given instructions to drive the small cattle ranchers out through fear and intimidation, but the three Hammett brothers, each for their own reasons, stand their ground. When the cattle barons declare all-out war, the Hammett brothers rise to the occasion in an explosive finale. Rachel Ward is featured as Queeniea fearless bargirl who goes up against the cattle barons. Michelle Forbes also stars as Rory. Award-winning Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana bring to life this emotionally charged story of the last Western range war, based on best-selling author Frederick Manfred novel Riders of Judgement.
