A dollar bill is six inches long. Folded into quarters it's 1 1⁄2 inches in length per quarter. You can use this if you can't find, or don't have a tape measure.
A sheet of aluminum foil can be wadded up into a ball and used like a Brillo pad or scouring pad to clean your oven or barbecue grill.
A lint roller already in your laundry room can be used to take the dirt and dust off of your lampshades.
Baby oil can be used to clean and shine your chrome faucets. The oil will also repel water and prevent future spotting.
Vodka can be used to clean your fine glassware without putting them through the dishwasher.
Spaghetti can be used to light those hard to reach candles and/or the pilot light on your oven.
Rubber bands can be used to turn a stripped screw.
